Are we – and to what extent – actually able to anticipate change or consciously give it direction? These are the questions that, referring to their own research interests and experiences, will be faced by the speakers and presenters at this installment of TEDx University of Warsaw.

2023 EDITION: Scientific UPDATE. Youth explore the world
Science is not only an opportunity to learn about the reality around us. It is also the power that shapes it, changes it. At this year’s edition of TEDx University of Warsaw, we will learn what changes – coming soon – will take place through the research work of those at the beginning of the scientific path today. Time for a Scientific UPDATE!
The event was held under the patronage of the UW Rector, JM Prof. PhD Aloysius Z. Nowak.
On behalf of the UW’s Vice Chancellor for Research and Development. research, prof. dr. hab. Zygmunt Lalak, UW Chancellor Robert Grey and the UW Center for Cooperation and Dialogue team are pleased to invite you to the next edition of TEDx University of Warsaw. Representatives of the UW Doctoral Schools will participate, as well as those who have received their doctoral degrees in recent years.

2022
EDITION 2022: To look differently, that is, us and our world outside the box
We live in a time of information deluge, with the simultaneous – seemingly easy – availability of all human knowledge. However, this is not at all conducive to understanding the world. On the contrary: overwhelmed by excess, we escape into established patterns and beliefs that seem obvious. That’s why we need as much TEDx as possible. The TEDx formula makes it possible to make sound scientific knowledge accessible and question the (supposed) obvious. In short: it gives food for thought. Is debt really just an unbearable burden? Does old age happen to us, or do we bring it on ourselves? Do we really know why we help some migrants and not others? To see the reality around us in a different way – it’s a wonderful feeling. And the first step to a more conscious life.
The Center for Dialogue and Cooperation of the University of Warsaw is the main organizer of TEDx University of Warsaw.
