1. Can one host a TEDx event using license by UW?
According to the Competition Regulations /§ 1 p.5/, a Project is understood as: a study, research grant implemented or completed by a Participant, the results of which are owned or co-owned by the University of Warsaw.
Therefore, the organization of a conference or other platform to promote multiple projects that are not indicated in the competition application is not subject to funding.
2. Can the grant plan to pay for organizational and/or substantive work for team members? If so, what does it look like if a team member is a UW employee or a doctoral student?
The organizational work related to the implementation of the activities carried out is carried out by the organizer of the competition, therefore no organizational or administrative costs can be financed from the competition.
